Kristen McAllister is a Licensed Certified Social Worker with 16 years of clinical and administrative experience in the provision of behavioral health and substance use services.

Throughout her career, Kristen has championed innovative behavioral health initiatives and advocated for harm reduction strategies and supports. Formerly, Kristen served as the Director of the Northwest Arkansas Regional Crisis Stabilization Unit with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and as the Director of Crisis and Forensic Services with Arisa Health. Prior to relocating to Northwest Arkansas in 2018, she served as the Director of OSAR services, a state-wide substance use assessment and referral program covering 30 counties in Central Texas.
Away from her professional life, Kristen enjoys spending time outdoors mountain biking, hiking, and camping with her husband, Kevin and dog, Roux. She also loves attending live music shows and is always looking forward to her next road trip.
