Meet Brittany.
Brittany Kelly is the founder and director of NWA Harm Reduction, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals facing substance use challenges, mental health struggles, and other high-risk behaviors. Brittany’s work was born from personal tragedy—after losing her brother, Matt Adams, to substance use, she turned her grief into action, creating programs and outreach efforts that have helped save hundreds of lives.
When she’s not leading the nonprofit, Brittany enjoys life on her farm, caring for her animals, running her family business, growing her real estate career, and embracing the rhythms of rural living. She loves reading, hiking, the fine arts, music, exploring new ideas, and finding ways to connect with her community on a deeper level. Her approach to harm reduction combines compassion, evidence-based practices, and a genuine commitment to meeting people where they are, always with dignity and respect.
Through her work, Brittany has built strong partnerships across local organizations, law enforcement, first responders, and public health networks, creating meaningful change in Northwest Arkansas. She was recognized for her efforts when she received the 2025 National Association of Social Workers - Arkansas Chapter (NASW-AR) Citizen of the Year award. Brittany balances her professional mission with a life centered on family, animals, nature, and the joy of small everyday moments that make a big difference.
